Hi, my name is Hiro Ogawa, founder of Direct Publishing, Inc., one of Japan’s most successful digital marketing companies. My mission is to help entrepreneurs like you move to the next level. I do this in two ways. First, I will help you grow as an entrepreneur by becoming an effective manager and online marketing strategist. Second, I will help you expand your content to the Japanese market. Why? I've been there, having taken my company from zero to a company that brings in $50 million in revenue. And why is H&A based in Hawaii? I chose Hawaii to help people step away from their mundane routines and think at a higher level in an energetic and beautiful environment. Hawaii's locale between the continental US and Japan is the perfect gateway.

Tadahiro "Hiro" is a graduate of Osaka University and the founder of Direct Publishing, Inc., one of Japan’s most successful digital marketing companies. The company specializes in promoting educational books and seminars, and represents a number of internationally prominent content creators. In the first 10 years, his company grew from zero to 50 million dollars in revenues. He has a reputation of an industry maverick.

Hiro's expertise is online marketing strategy and online advertising, such as Google and Facebook. He wrote two books on online marketing.
But what makes him unique is not only his marketing expertise but also his management philosophy. His philosophy of management is "freedom and responsibility" (as opposed to a micromanagement style that creates fear and stress in the workplace).
His employees are not on the traditional 9 am - 5 pm work schedule. Instead, they can work when and where they prefer. His employees come to the office only few hours per week. In Japan, this style of management (trust and care) is very, very rare. As a result, Hiro's employees are empowered to manage themselves.
Hiro is a prolific reader and consumer of content related to self development and business success. He is also an advocate for advancing higher education and historical research, and he funded the Tadahiro Ogawa History of Modern and Contemporary Japan Endowment Fund at Stanford University Hoover Institution. He is the first Asian to establish such an endowment at Stanford University Hoover Institution.
